KABUL (SW) – A military helicopter has crash-landed in the Kajaki district of Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
Umer Zwak, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Salam Watandar that the incident took place this morning. He said the chopper was destined to transport supplies to troops in the restive Kajaki district.
Meanwhile, the army’s 215 – Maiwand Corps has confirmed that the helicopter was attacked from the ground. A statement by the army said four soldiers got injured in this attack.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
