Man blamed for kidnapping young girls busted in Kabul

KABUL (SW): Gen. Zahir Zahir, Security Director at Kabul Police Headqaurters, said that a man named Ashraf who would regularly kidnap girls after chasing and following them in Kabul has been arrested.

A while ago, a young 25 years old man (Feroz) set himself on fire in public because his girlfriend Zohra was abducted by kidnappers.

The girl that Feroz fell for was kidnapped near Ariana Private University in Kart-e-Se in Kabul and went missing for 15 days and later it was known that the kidnappers had kidnaped her to rape her several times and left her in a deserted area.

Based on the criminal investigation, Ashraf has been found as the main perpetrator of Zohra’s case. Gen.Zahir said that their suspicion raised as 20 days ago Ashraf kidnaped another young girl from the city.

Security forces conducted several operations in the city, which eventually succeeded and led to Ashraf’s arrestment.

Gen. Zahir added that Ashraf is masterfully skilled at what he does and before kidnapping a girl, he meticulously follows the prey through different routes and takes picture of the prey through which he used to blackmail the victim and if it did not work, he used to kidnap them.

A while ago, the news of Feroz’s death made headline as he set himself on fire near Presidential Palace(Arg) but later the tale of his death blurred and the cause of his action never became clear that as to why such a young man committed self-demolition.
