‘Keep Me Warm’ campaign amid harsh winter

KABUL (SW): The Kabul University (KU) students in collaboration with the Afghanistan New Generation Organization (ANGO) on Tuesday launched ‘Keep Me Warm’ campaign for the poor and needy amid harsh winter.

Idress Tehseen, director of ANGO, said on the occasion the campaign would collect warm clothes, blankets and other items of need in the winter for the poor countrymen via this campaign. The move has been hailed by the KU students.

Qurban Ali and Bilal Naderi, two such students, told Salam Watandar that such campaigns play key role in uniting citizens to support those in need. A similar campaign with the slogan of ‘Wall of Kindness’ also received praises across Afghanistan last year.
