Guhar: I going through sexual harassment now. Working in a governmental office I always do my business carefully, yet most often I am disturbed and outraged by male colleagues in office. They do not mind their languages at all, even talking loudly about sex affairs with each other so that they draw my attention and drive me shameful. Once I questioned one of my colleagues why he disturbed me. “Do you not have your own mother and sister”, I told him irritatingly. “My mother and sister are respectful and honorable”, he replied. They do not go outside and they are not brazen like you, you are a prostitute and you make money by selling your body”, he answered.
Sara: I was a second year student of literature. I was studying hard and scoring good marks. I however got failed after I rejected to be friend with a lecturer. In the wake of my failure story, I got so chaotic that I went unable to understand the reason why I was failed. I contacted the lecturer. Responding my call, he asked me to visit him in his office the next day. As soon as I entered his office, he immediately rushed to door and locked it. Locking the door, he took my hand too closely slapping me on my face and then told me to cuddle him. “If you don’t embrace me I will drop you out of university”, he told me angrily. Afraid of my reputation to be harmed, I did not react. I was fully terrified and shocked. He kept pressing my hands to force me to hug him. My eyes welled up and tears began rolling down my cheeks. Experiencing all these, I finally left his office. By next days, I got a notification which read that I was dropped out of university.
Setara: I was a poor university student. Due to the worst economic challenges, I was forced to work part time. I was working so hard and that I missed class sometimes. I learnt that I made too much absentees. Head of the Department, an old man, called me to his office one day and said to me that he would fix my absentees and in return he asked me to sleep with him. At first I thought he was kidding but he was serious about it. I didn't hesitate and left his office. I later found out that I was forced out of university.
