MAIDAN CITY (SW): As many as 160 fresh high-school graduates lined-up to join the recruitment test for the Afghanistan National Police (ANP) on Thursday at the provincial police headquarters in the central MaidanWardak province.
A delegation of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) supervised the test. Hayatullah Hayat, the Provincial Governor thanked the MoI for paving the way for youngsters to join the ranks of police force and serve the nation with dignity.
Hayat said 33 cadets would be shortlisted and would be provided with intensive 6-month training before joining. The governor noted soon more opportunities would be provided to the youngsters to serve their country in uniform.
The ANA Recruitment Head Mir Ahmad Momand appreciated the enthusiasm among the youth to join the forces.
