GHAZNI CITY(SW): A young artist girl gifted several of her art works to the security forces in southern Ghazni province.

Forohar Gulestani, a young artist living in Ghazni, who was accompanied by children from a kindergarten gifted her works to the police force in appreciation of their works and dedication.

She said that children and artists are the most vulnerable to the insecurity therefore in the light of security they can make progress.

She believed that the security forces have resisted with all the challenges and have made tremendous efforts to ensure security so that people live with the peace of minds and continue to produce artistic works in the province.

She said that as an artist she understood how tough it gets for the security forces at times to work under difficult circumstances and this is the reason why she tried to portray them in her works.

In her works, she has also highlighted the roles of women who work in security departments, which indicate that women could also work shoulder to shoulder with men.

She gifted her works to four police officers and the children who were accompanying her also gave bunches of flowers to the officers.

Aminullah Amarkheyl, Ghazni Police Chief, praised Forohar and the children adding that people’s support would boost the morale of the security forces.

He assured people that the police forces would always be ready to ensure the security of the citizens and defend the country.
