PUL-I-ALAM (SW): A Taliban-claimed suicide car bombing in Logar on Wednesday claimed at least four lives and left 12 more people wounded.
Shahpur Ahmadzai, spokesman for the police in the province, informed Salam Watandar the Police District 1 (PD1) came under assault. He said three attackers wished to enter the PD1 after the suicide car bombing, and all have been killed by the security forces.
The police spokesman said chief of the PD1, Khan Agha, and three more policemen got killed and 12 others got wounded. Women and children are among those wounded in this attack, he said.
The Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahed, claimed to have inflicted heavy losses upon the security forces in this raid.
