JALALABAD (SW): A deadly quarrel between two neighbors in Nangarhar province has led to the death of four people including a woman.
According to a local elder who wished not to be named, the quarrel erupted over a spot in the Chaparhar district for ice selling amid hot weather. Salam Watandar was informed that one of the neighbors involved in this incident hailed from Kunar province while the other one was native of the district.
According to reports, three men of the native family including Mullah Naqeeb and his two sons were shot dead by Syed Mullah, head of the other family hailing from Kunar. Later, upon reaching home, Syed Mullah also killed a woman of his own family.
Moalim Mashooq, chief of the district, has confirmed the incident. He said the culprits have escaped from the site of the incident, and efforts to arrest them are underway.
