Haseeb Motarif, director for monitoring parliamentary affairs at FEFA, told a press conference here on Monday that the overall attendance of the parliamentarians has improved, but absence from sessions still remains an issue at the house.
The FEFA report indicates parliamentarians continue to violate the procedures of house.
Abdul Qadir Zazay, secretary of the Wolesi Jirga (lower house), told Salam Watandar that extra efforts have been put in place to improve the attendance of the members. He, however, acknowledged that some issues remain in this regard to be addressed. He stressed it would be ensured to abide by all rules of the house.
