KABUL (SW) – Eklil Hakimi, minister for the Ministry of Finance, has rendered his resignation from his post.
In a presser, Hakimi thanked President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani for trusting him for this key post. He cited personal reasons for the move.
His resignation comes at a time when a number of ministries are already run by caretaking ministers.
