NANGARHAR CITY (SW): An explosion took place in Nangarhar which left 13 dead and 14 more injured.
The suicide bomber entered Obaidullah Shinwari’s house who is a member at Nangarhar Provincial Council.
He held a tribal gathering to celebrate the release of his brother who had been held hostage by Daesh.
Eye witnesses said that the suicide bomber managed to enter the house and blew himself up among the guests.
Attaullah Khogyani, Spokesman for Nangarhar Governor, told SalamWatandar that both Obaidullah Shinwari and Malek Osman, his father, were among those wounded.
He feared that the number of casualties could rise.
He added 5 wounded victims were in critical condition who were shifted to Kabul to receive emergency treatment.
No particular group has claimed responsibility for the attack and Taliban have not taken responsibility for the incident either.
