SHEBERGHAN (SW): An official in Jawzjan province claims a pro-Daesh militant commander has raped a 19-year-old girl in Darzab district.
Lieutenant Ismael, district police chief in Darzab, informed Salam Watandar the incident took place in the Mughal village. He added the victim was fiancé of the militant commander. The police chief stressed this is not the first incident of the sort, and the pro-Daesh militants have committed similar atrocities in the past as well.
The district police chief went on to claim the group has abducted a number of women for sexual exploitation, and even assault animals for sexual pleasure.
A number of locals have confirmed the latest incident of the sort in Darzab.
The pro-Daesh militants have so far not commented on this matter.
