SHEBERGHAN (SW): Daesh rebels have banned cigarettes, snuff, satellite television, and chicken meat in Darz Aab district of Jawzjan.
Baz Mohammad Dawar, acting chief of Darz Aab district, told Salam Watandar that the Daesh rebels have warned to punish anyone who does not abide their new imposed law. According to the district chief, Daesh rebels in addition to their warnings closed shops which sell such items in the main bazaar of the district.
“Darz Aab district has been in the control of Daesh rebels since one year, but the security forces have not been able to retake the district yet”, added Dawar.
Vendors in Darz Aab also said that the Daesh rebels distributed the notices for banning these items on Monday. According to the vendors, the Daesh has given warnings of punishment and death if such noncompliance is repeated.
Captain Ismail, the police chief of Darz Aab, said that the new law is only imposed by Daesh in Maq-ul-Qani village. According to the district police chief, the situation is better in the center of the district.
The Daesh rebels have not officially commented on the matter to media yet.
