SHEBERGHAN (SW): A security source on conditions of anonymity has claimed that pro-Daesh rebels have been teaching their caliphate ideology to children in Jawzjan province.
The security source talking to Salam Watandar said that the pro-Daesh rebels are teaching their caliphate ideology in 16 schools of Darz Aab district. He added that the Daesh is trying to establish their caliphate ideology with this move.
Local authorities in Darz Aab district of the province have said that the pro-Daesh rebels have warned local elders and educators to teach their caliphate curriculum as the group is paying the teachers’ salaries and the area is under the Daesh control, otherwise, caliphate punishments will be imposed for not complying with their order.
Baz Mohammad Dawar, acting chief of Darz Aab district, talking to Salam Watandar confirmed the development in the district and said that the pro-Daesh rebels have issued a statement telling families to admit children in schools where the caliphate curriculum is thought by the rebels.
But, Abdul Hai Yashin, the provincial director of education, claimed he is not aware of the new development in the Darz Aab schools. “The provincial directorate of education is a government controlled entity. It is not a military of any militant organization”, clarified Yashin.
Based on the information received by Salam Watandar, Daesh has trained at least 300 students from Qosh Tapa district of Jawzjan in planting landmines and carying out suicide bombings.
