KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health has said that out of 332 samples taken from people suspected of having coronavirus overnight, the results of 56 tests in ten provinces of the country proved positive.
According to the ministry, 181 patients with the virus have been treated during this period. It said that with the registration of these new cases, the number of infected people in the country has increased to 37,162.
According to official statistics from the Ministry of Public Health, 26,228 patients have been treated so far and 1,328 others have died. The Ministry of Public Health added that out of 96,203 samples collected nationwide, some 9,782 remain active.
Meanwhile, the number of Covid-19 cases in the world has reached 20 million of which more than 734,000 people have died and more than 12 million have recovered.
