KABUL (SW): The National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar has claimed China has expressed willingness to assist the military sector in Afghanistan.
In the wake of latest terrorist attacks in Kabul and other cities that claimed multiple lives, Deng Xijun, Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan called upon Mohammad Hanif Atmar and expressed condolences over the loss of lives.
“The Chinese Ambassador condemned the attacks, expressed its support for the peace process and called upon parties of this process to strive for peace whole heartedly”, a statement by the National Security Advisor said on Sunday evening.
The Chinese Ambassador said his country is willing to assist the Afghan security forces.
Hanif Atmar thanked the Chinese envoy for Beijing’s support for the peace process, economic development and willingness for military aid. “The people and government of Afghanistan consider China as a close friend and have great trust on China’s support”, it added.
