KHOST CITY (SW): A blast in Khost province on Sunday killed at least 12 people gathered to register for the forthcoming elections.
Abdul Hanan Zadran, deputy chief for the police in Khost, informed the incident took place in the Yaqubi Mosque in the Khost city. He confirmed 12 people got killed and 31 others got wounded in this attack.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
Habib Shah Ansari, head of the public hospital in Khost, has said a woman is among the victims. The officials noted all victims of the blast are civilians.
It was informed a number of wounded victims of this incident are in critical state.
