KABUL (SW): Leader of the New National Front’s has said the newly created post of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the fundamental cause behind rift among the leaders of the National Unity Government leaders.
Anwar ul-Haq Ahady, the chairperson for the New National Front (NNF), stated on Thursday in Kabul that personal differences existing among the NUG leaders have triggered political tensions in the country. The chairperson for the NNF noted that as the current government is ‘illegitimate’, it seems hard to find out an absolute resolution to end up the prevailing tension.
Ahady stated that to resolve the crisis and create a ‘legitimate’ government, fresh Presidential elections should be held. He added that holding elections can help resolve the crisis. He suggested that to immediately resolve the tension there is a need to form a new political front led by known political personalities.
In response to Anwar ul-Haq Ahady’s recent standpoint, Shah Hussain Murtazawi, the deputy spokesperson for the President, however told Salam Watandar that differences among the NUG leaders have been set.
