KABUL (SW): The Afghan-Turk schools’ administration on the occasion of celebrating their students’ achievements on Monday here Kabul said their students have won 171 medals in the Olympiad 2017 competitions.
According to the Afghan-Turk schools' officials, if the schools are provided with more facilities, their achievement will be bigger.
Yilmaz Ayatan, the deputy principal of the Afghan-Turk schools, said that the Afghan students competed with students from other countries in the Persian Literature, Math, Computer, Physics, and Chemistry in the Olympiad competitions, and won 63 gold, 74 silver, and 32 bronze medals. According to him, the students of Afghan-Turk school excelled at this year’s University Entrance Exam (Konkor) as well.
The Schools’ administration called the Afghan-Turk schools an example of friendship between the Afghan and the Turkish people.
The Afghan-Turk CAG Educational NGO has schools in the capital and provinces of Afghanistan with around 8 thousand students and 160 Turkish and 380 Afghan educators.
