KABUL (SW): To follow-up discussions on the terrorists’ sanctuaries in Pakistan, a delegation from Kabul would visit Islamabad on Friday.
Deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sibghat Ahmadi, told Salam Watandar that this delegation would follow-up on talks and pledges made during a visit by a delegation from Pakistan earlier this month.
The two sides are also set to discuss matters related to trade, economic cooperation and state of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
Sibghat Ahmadi did not share details about composition of the Afghan delegation scheduled to visit Islamabad, but said representatives of the MoFA and other officials would visit Pakistan for these talks.
This comes at a time when a number of villages in Kunar province are under intense shelling from Pakistan.
