A school for boys and girls torched in Paktika

SHARAN (SW) – Unknown miscreants have torched a school for boys and girls in Paktika province.

Mohammad Naseem Wajid, deputy head for the directorate of education, told Salam Watandar the school has been burned down in Orgun district of the province. He said up to 900 students, including 400 girls were enrolled in this school.

Wajid said all academic material has burned down.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident.
