MAIMANA (SW): Security authorities in Faryab province have said 5 guests have been gunned down at a dinner on Wednesday in Aimaqkhana village of Qorghan district.
Abdul Karim Yurish, the provincial police spokesman, told Salam Watandar that among those killed is Chari Khan, the commander of people’s uprising. “The victims were invited at a friend’s house where they were shot dead during dinner and the host fled the scene. The motive behind the incident is not known yet”, informed Yurish.
The provincial police spokesman added the host is involved in the killings as he fled the scene along with the vehicles and guns of the victims.
