KABUL (SW) – A suicide blast ripped through convoy marking the death anniversary of Ahmad Shah Masood, national hero, on Sunday, officials confirmed.
Hashmat Stanikzai, spokesman for the police in Kabul, confirmed a suicide attacker riding motorcycle detonated explosives in the fourth police district. He added two people got killed and up to 12 got wounded in this attack.
This comes as a number of top government officials and other figures marked the 17th death anniversary of Masood and the Martyrs’ Week in the capital.
