GHAZNI (SW): An explosion near a voters’ registration center in Ghazni city wounded three people.
The Ghazni Police’s media office said the blast took place in the Moghulan area of Ghazni city and the details will be shared with the media soon. However, Dr. Baz Mohammad Hemat, the head of Ghazni Hospital told Salam Watandar that three people who were injured in this incident have been admitted to this hospital. Two employees of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and a soldier are among the wounded.
Ghazni’s IEC director dismissed the news; however, another source at the IEC provincial headquarters in Ghazni said a woman and a man who were working as enrolling officers to register voters were wounded in this incident.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the explosion yet.
