PARWAN (SW): A massive gathering was held in Charikar, Parwan to support the process of voters’ registration with thousands of residents and government officials participated in the convention.
Fazluddin Ayar, the governor of Parwan said that all the security measures for the registration centers in these two provinces have been taken and residents are encouraged to participate in the registration process with peace of mind.
Meanwhile, some members of of the Lower House of Representatives (Wolesi Jirga) expressed concerns over the pace of the registration process saying that if the registration process continues like this, it will likely take two years to get all the eligible voters registered!!
Similar conventions were held in Bamiyan and Paktia as well to support the voters’ registration process and to encourage the residents to participate in the process without fear and with peace of mind.
