KABUL (SW): Security forces have rounded-up at least one hundred suspects on charges of links with the Taliban in Logar province.
Shahpur Ahmadzai, spokesman for the police headquarters in the province, told Salam Watandar that the men have been taken into custody from Padkhwab village in the provincial capital Pul-i-Alam.
Bismillah, a resident of the village, has informed that the forces of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) have taken the village under siege since yesterday. He asserted the men taken into custody have no links with the Taliban.
The Taliban have not commented on this matter so far.
