GHAZNI CITY (SW): Jawed Salangi, the spokesperson for Ghazni’s governor, told Salam Watandar that the Taliban have abducted 9 more passengers from Kandahar-Kabul highway. This incident took place last night in Mula Nooh Baba area in Andar district.
Amanullah Hotak, the head of High Peace Council in Ghazni, stated that as many as 8 passengers have been abducted. He added that Taliban have taken the kidnapped passengers to villages in Andar district and so far their exact whereabouts are not known.
Gen. Aminullah Amarkheyl, the Police Chief in Ghazni, said that there is no detailed information about the abducted passengers so far.
Taliban shot dead 11 passengers on Tuesday in the province.
