JALALBAD (SW): A suicide attacker riding a motorcycle killed six civilians, including a woman and a child, in Jalalabad on Sunday.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Salam Watandar that the attack took place near the Sherzai stadium in the city in which 13 people also got wounded.
Dr. Ehsanullah Shinwari, director regional public hospital in Jalabad, ha confirmed 6 people got killed and 13 others got wounded in this attack. He added a number of wounded people are in critical state.
This comes as thousands of people had gathered in the city for a political gathering in support of the government.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility. A day earlier, two officers of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) got killed and 13 people got wounded in a bomb blast in the city.
