FIROZKOH (SW): 5 Daesh propagandists arrested in Ghor province, officials reported.
Security authorities informed that the 5 Daesh propagandists were arrested while taking pictures and making videos in parts of Lal-o-Sarjangal district on Tuesday.
Mohammad Iqbal Nizami, the spokesman for provincial police headquarters, told Salam Watandar the arrested suspects are from Kandahar and promote Daesh propaganda. According to him, the arrested persons confessed during interrogations to encouraging people to join Daesh rebels in Charsada, Dolitar and Lal-o-Sarjangal district of Ghor province and were planning to travel to Kabul and then back to Kandahar.
“A laptop containing Daesh propaganda material and high tech gadgets were recovered from them”, informed Nizami.
The provincial police spokesman assured that their case has been submitted to judicial authorities.
