JALALABAD (SW) – The security forces killed at least 22 pro-Daesh insurgents including three of their commanders in Nangarhar province, an official statement said on Tuesday.
According to the NDS, the Special Forces conducted raids on the pro-Daesh insurgents’ hideouts in Khogyani district. In this raid, 22 insurgents were killed and four caches of arms and ammunition destroyed, it added.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor, said no civilian has been harmed in this operation.
The pro-Daesh insurgents did not comment on this.
