PUL-I-ALAM (SW): A young civilian abducted from Pul-i-Alam in Logar province has been found decapitated on Monday.
Salim Saleh, provincial governor’s spokesman, told Salam Watandar the 18-year-old Jan Mohammad was returning from his barber shop in Pul-i-Alam late night on Monday when unknown armed men kidnapped him. “The culprits have decapitated him and have chopped-off his left hand as well”, Saleh said.
According to the spokesman, the motive behind the gruesome beheading is not known yet. No group has claimed responsibility for this incident. Police have initiated investigations into the case.
Jawed, a resident of the Patkhab Shanay village in Pul-i-Alam said Jan Mohammad had no ties with the security forces. He said the dead body of Mohammad was found in front of his home.
