KUNDUZ CITY (SW) – A number of security forces have been rescued from the Taliban captivity following a joint operation in Kunduz province.
According to Safiullah Muhammadi, commander of the NDS – 09 Brigade, the Special Forces conducted this operation in the Imam Saheb district. He added a total of 15 captive security forces have been rescued in this operation.
The Taliban have not commented on this.
This comes weeks after the security forces conducted a similar raid in Helmand province freeing a number of captive security forces.
