LASHKARGAH (SW): 6 men beheaded a 10-year-old girl after gang raping her, in Helmand province.
Omar Zwak, provincial governor’s spokesman, stated that the incident took place in Naqelabad area of Zarghon village of Naad Ali district. According to him, locals have apprehended 2 suspects, and the other 4 are absconding.
Omar Zawak added that the local people are looking areas under the control of the Taliban and the security forces to find the culprits.
Mohammadullah, a local resident, said that the minor was killed in a "cruel way". But, according to him, detained suspects are held by the Taliban.
Afifa Maroof, the head of the provincial chapter of Independent Human Right, urged the government to investigate the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.
