Moms can also get support &amp; advice to breastfeed longer&#8221;, it tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">UNICEF said in 2022, 1 in 2 Afghan <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">children<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> under 5 will suffer from severe acute malnutrition. &#8220;The needs of Afghanistan&#8217;s most vulnerable children &amp; their families are unparalleled.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">@UNICEFAfg <\/span>is responding with life-saving interventions like therapeutic food &amp; access to health services&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the UN Children Fund (UNICEF) warned that as the humanitarian crisis deepens in Afghanistan, the Indira Gandhi Children\u2019s Hospital in Kabul receives up to 8 cases each day of children suffering complications associated with severe acute malnutrition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is my responsibility to help my people in their time of need,\u201d said Head Nurse, Hasiba.
