{"id":4486,"date":"2021-05-17T10:31:34","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T10:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=4486"},"modified":"2021-05-17T10:31:34","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T10:31:34","slug":"designated-faryab-governor-takes-charge-at-military-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2021\/05\/designated-faryab-governor-takes-charge-at-military-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"Designated Faryab governor takes charge at military facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MAIMANA (SW) \u2013 The designated Faryab governor Mohammad Dawood on Monday took charge at a military facility as protesters continued protests against him at the governor\u2019s compound in Maimana city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Narges Momand, a spokeswoman for the Independent Directorate of Local Governance, tweeted that Mohammad Daud Laghmani had been inaugurated as the new governor of Faryab this morning in the presence of Sebghatullah Ghaznavi, deputy director of the department, military and civilian officials and the head of the Faryab provincial council.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Marshal Dostum orders to \u2018shoot\u2019<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Junmbish party leader, Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, has directed his supporters to continue their demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p>Dostum has instructed his supporters to take out \u201cany weapons\u201d they have and to arm themselves and be ready for any situation.
