Security officials in Logar, Herat, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Parwan, Faryab, Nangarhar, Samangan, Kapisa and Paktia provinces say the Taliban have launched a series of simultaneous assaults.<\/p>\n<p>Figures compiled by Salam Watandar from seven provinces so far show that the situation has worsened since the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/swn.english\">Follow Us On Facebook\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Logar province saw most of the casualties with 25 civilians getting killed and 112 others getting wounded. According to him, the recent clashes have negatively affected the province and the Taliban are attacking security posts every night, prompting a backlash from the security forces.<\/p>\n<p>The intensified fighting has made many citizens worried. Ruhullah, one such resident, said the security situation in the country was deteriorating day by day and the continuation of this situation would increase the concerns of the people.
