{"id":3240,"date":"2021-02-16T09:33:59","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T09:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=3240"},"modified":"2021-02-16T09:33:59","modified_gmt":"2021-02-16T09:33:59","slug":"42-captives-freed-from-taliban-detention","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2021\/02\/42-captives-freed-from-taliban-detention\/","title":{"rendered":"42 captives freed from Taliban detention \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BAGHLAN (SW) \u2013 At least 42 captives have been freed from the Taliban captivity in Baghlan province, officials announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Fareed Khan Syedkhaily, commander of the third brigade of the 217 \u2013 Pamir Corps said the operation to free these men was conducted in Baghlan-e-Markazi district last evening. He added among those freed included 25 members of the security forces and 17 civilians.<\/p>\n<p>Syedkhaily said the Taliban\u2019s detention facility in the area was completely dismantled in the operation.
