{"id":3123,"date":"2021-02-07T10:39:46","date_gmt":"2021-02-07T10:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=3123"},"modified":"2021-02-07T10:39:46","modified_gmt":"2021-02-07T10:39:46","slug":"back-to-back-blasts-rock-nangarhar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2021\/02\/back-to-back-blasts-rock-nangarhar\/","title":{"rendered":"Back-to-back blasts rock Nangarhar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JALALABAD (SW) \u2013 At least one soldier was killed and two others were injured following a car bomb attack on a police checkpoint in the Chamtala area of \u200b\u200bthe Khogyani district in Nangarhar province on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing fears about rise in the death toll, the provincial governor\u2019s office said the attack also caused financial losses to the people of the surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>The blast was so loud that it could be heard in parts of Jalalabad city, locals said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Farid Khan, a spokesman for the Nangarhar police chief, said a roadside bomb exploded on a police patrol vehicle in Jalalabad at around 9am.
