{"id":2935,"date":"2021-01-26T10:54:27","date_gmt":"2021-01-26T10:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=2935"},"modified":"2021-01-26T10:54:27","modified_gmt":"2021-01-26T10:54:27","slug":"22-captives-freed-from-taliban-prison-in-logar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2021\/01\/22-captives-freed-from-taliban-prison-in-logar\/","title":{"rendered":"22 captives freed from Taliban prison in Logar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PUL-I-ALAM (SW) \u2013 At least 22 captives have been freed from a Taliban prison in Logar province, defense ministry said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mohammad Yasin Sadaad, commander of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Brigade of the 203 \u2013 Thunder Corps in Logar province,\u00a0 Afghan commandos had broken a Taliban prison in the Charkh district of the province and released these prisoners. Among those freed included civilians and soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>He told Salam Watandar that the operation took place at a key Taliban base in the Abjosh area of \u200b\u200bCharkh district. According to Sadaad, Afghan commandos released 15 civilians and 7 soldiers from the Taliban prison as a result of the operation.
