{"id":27333,"date":"2025-02-20T15:31:22","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T15:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=27333"},"modified":"2025-02-20T15:31:22","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T15:31:22","slug":"new-handicraft-factory-in-parwan-creates-jobs-for-150-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2025\/02\/new-handicraft-factory-in-parwan-creates-jobs-for-150-women\/","title":{"rendered":"New handicraft factory in Parwan creates jobs for 150 women"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A clothing and handicraft factory named &#8220;Almas&#8221; (Diamond) has been inaugurated in Afghanistan&#8217;s Parwan province, providing job opportunities for women.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Obaidullah Rahmani, head of industrial parks at the Parwan Directorate of Industry and Commerce, said that the factory was established in the village of Ishqabad in the Jabal al-Saraj district.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the launch of this factory has created training and employment opportunities for 150 women, who will learn tailoring, tablecloth embroidery, and other handicrafts.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rahmani, the factory was founded by a group of women entrepreneurs, with an investment exceeding 200,000 afghanis.<\/p>\n<p>Fazila Sadat, the director of Almas factory, shared that she established it with limited resources and the help of several women.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDue to economic difficulties, we currently rely on manual tools.
