Additionally, holders of temporary registration cards (SHARP\/UNHCR) are also among those being deported. The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is deeply concerned about unnecessary arrests, house searches, and the extortion of Afghan nationals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad -under the control of the Islamic Emirate- emphasized that the lack of clarity regarding the process of obtaining a &#8220;NOC&#8221; (No Objection Certificate) has led to the arbitrary arrest and deportation of Afghan migrants.<\/p>\n<p>The embassy has called on Pakistan, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and other human rights organizations to urgently address concerns regarding the detention of Afghan migrants.<\/p>\n<p>In the past week, various media outlets have reported that the Pakistani police have detained a number of Afghan migrants in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<h6><em><strong>ENDS<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan&#8217;s capital, has announced that the country&#8217;s police have arrested nearly 800 Afghan migrants.
