{"id":26176,"date":"2024-12-19T09:43:19","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=26176"},"modified":"2024-12-19T09:43:19","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:43:19","slug":"carnage-over-a-hundred-people-injured-killed-in-two-traffic-accidents-in-ghazni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2024\/12\/carnage-over-a-hundred-people-injured-killed-in-two-traffic-accidents-in-ghazni\/","title":{"rendered":"Carnage: Over a hundred people injured, killed in two traffic accidents in Ghazni"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KABUL (SW) &#8211; More than a hundred people got injured and killed in two separate road accidents in Ghazni province, said officials.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Local authorities in Ghazni say that these incidents occurred around 11:00 PM on Wednesday night, December 18, on the Kabul-Kandahar highway.<\/p>\n<p>Hamidullah Nesar, the head of Information and Culture in Ghazni, told Salam Watandar that a tragic accident occurred due to a collision between a passenger bus of type &#8220;580&#8221; and a fuel tanker in the village of &#8220;Shahbaz&#8221; in the center of Ghazni.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, another &#8220;580&#8221; passenger bus collided with a cargo truck in the village of &#8220;Nani&#8221; in the Andar district of the province.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of these incidents, 44 people traveling on the Kabul-Kandahar highway were killed, and 76 others sustained injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The injured have been transferred to provincial and district hospitals in Ghazni for treatment.
