{"id":25741,"date":"2024-11-27T16:31:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T16:31:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=25741"},"modified":"2024-11-27T16:31:32","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T16:31:32","slug":"afghan-products-showcase-at-istanbul-helal-expo-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2024\/11\/afghan-products-showcase-at-istanbul-helal-expo-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Afghan products showcase at &#8220;Istanbul Helal Expo 2024&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KABUL (SW) &#8211; Nooruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate, is leading a 30-member delegation to Turkey<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>to attend the &#8220;Istanbul Helal Expo 2024.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ministry further stated that Afghan products and local productions will be displayed in eight booths at this exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Products and productions from Afghanistan in sectors such as carpets, gemstones, dried fruits, and banking will be showcased in eight booths,&#8221; according to statement.<\/p>\n<p>Azizi, during his visit to Turkey, mentioned that the Islamic Emirate is working to create an economic corridor through Turkey to European markets.<\/p>\n<p>Several Afghan businessmen attending the expo have expressed that participating in international exhibitions creates opportunities to sell their products.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Ahmad Noori, a carpet trader, said: &#8220;Participating in this exhibition is important for us because 90% of the carpets produced in Afghanistan are exported, and this will help us find large buyers for our products.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Economic expert, Eraj Faqiri, noted that Afghanistan\u2019s participation in international exhibitions will expand its economic and trade relations with other countries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;International exhibitions are crucial for strengthening Afghanistan&#8217;s commercial ties with other countries.
