Likewise, defender Bronze is also a maiden recipient of\u00a0The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Player Award\u00a0after rounding off an impeccable spell with Olympique Lyonnais in style before returning to England to play for Manchester City WFC, said FIFA.<\/p>\n<p>Teams of the year<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of football players from around the world cast their votes for this year\u2019s FIFA FIFPRO Men\u2019s World11 and FIFA FIFPRO Women\u2019s World11 selections:<\/p>\n<p>FIFA FIFPRO Men\u2019s World11:<\/p>\n<p>Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker (Liverpool FC)<\/p>\n<p>Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool FC), Alphonso Davies* (FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid CF) and Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool FC)<\/p>\n<p>Midfielders: Thiago Alc\u00e2ntara (FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen\/Liverpool FC), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City FC) and Joshua Kimmich (FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen)<\/p>\n<p>Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus FC), Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen) and Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona)<\/p>\n<p>* Alphonso Davies was included as a fourth defender in accordance with the\u00a0FIFA FIFPRO Men\u2019s World11 Rules of Allocation.<\/p>\n<p>FIFA FIFPRO Women\u2019s World11:<\/p>\n<p>Goalkeeper: Christiane Endler (Paris Saint-Germain)<\/p>\n<p>Defenders: Millie Bright (Chelsea FC Women), Lucy Bronze (Olympique Lyonnais\/Manchester City WFC) and Wendie Renard (Olympique Lyonnais)<\/p>\n<p>Midfielders: Barbara Bonansea (Juventus Women), Ver\u00f3nica Boquete (Utah Royals\/AC Milan Women) and Delphine Cascarino (Olympique Lyonnais)<\/p>\n<p>Forwards: Pernille Harder (VfL Wolfsburg\/Chelsea FC Women), Tobin Heath (Portland Thorns\/Manchester United WFC), Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal WFC) and Megan Rapinoe* (OL Reign)<\/p>\n<p>* Megan Rapinoe was included as a fourth forward in accordance with the\u00a0FIFA FIFPRO Women\u2019s World11 Rules of Allocation.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of The Best player, goalkeeper and coach awards were determined through a voting process in which four groups had an equal say: football fans, selected media representatives, and the captains and head coaches of national teams from around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>A breakdown of the voting results, including each nominee\u2019s points total, is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/resources.fifa.com\/image\/upload\/the-best-fifa-football-awards-2020-result-breakdown-final.pdf?cloudid=icxfikxtnmxh7eqoejv6\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The voting procedure was supervised and monitored by the independent observer PricewaterhouseCoopers Switzerland.
