KABUL (SW) \u2013 The interior ministry confirmed on Tuesday that the deputy governor of Kabul province got killed in a magnetic bomb blast.<\/p>\n
The MoI spokesman Tariq Arian said in a statement that the deputy governor Muhibullah Mohibi and his secretary got killed and two of their guards got injured in the blast. He said the incident took place at around 09:40 a.m.<\/p>\n
He added that a number of terrorists involved in such attacks have been taken into custody and efforts are underway to arrest other terrorists as well.<\/p>\n
No group of individual took responsibility for the attack.<\/p>\n
Separately, the deputy chairman of Ghor province Abdul Rehman Atshan also got killed in a magnetic bomb attack. According to the head of the public health department, Abdul Lateef, the deputy provincial council chairman was targeted in his car while travelling.<\/p>\n
Two people got injured as well in this attack, which has not been claimed by any group of individual.<\/p>\n
