{"id":14751,"date":"2023-06-24T09:43:45","date_gmt":"2023-06-24T09:43:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/?p=14751"},"modified":"2023-06-24T09:44:35","modified_gmt":"2023-06-24T09:44:35","slug":"pakistan-reiterates-desire-to-enhance-ties-with-afghanistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/en\/2023\/06\/pakistan-reiterates-desire-to-enhance-ties-with-afghanistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan reiterates desire to enhance ties with Afghanistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MONITORING (SW) &#8211; Pakistan&#8217;s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reiterated the desire to enhance ties with the neighboring Afghanistan.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pakistan\u2019s Special Representative on Afghanistan Asif Durrani called on Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari here on Friday and discussed matters of mutual respect.<\/p>\n<p>They reviewed the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.\u00a0The foreign minister reiterated Pakistan\u2019s desire to build close co-operative relations with Kabul, reported the APP.\u00a0He urged expeditious completion of flagship projects initiated by Pakistan and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan authorities have rejected remarks by Pakistan\u2019s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari about surge in terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with the Al Jazeera news channel that was broadcast recently, Zardari said that after the return of the Islamic Emirate to power in Afghanistan, Pakistan has faced various terrorist attacks. Although he expressed concern about the increase in attacks on Pakistan after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, he has invited the world to interact with the Islamic Emirate towards mainstreaming Afghanistan again.<\/p>\n<p>Bilal Karimi, one of the deputy spokespersons of the Islamic Emirate, told Salam Watandar that he appreciates any effort to interact with the Islamic Emirate, but emphasized that the Islamic Emirate wants peace and stability in the entire region. \u201cPakistan\u2019s internal problems have nothing to do with Afghanistan. Peace and stability have been ensured in Afghanistan after the arrival of the Islamic Emirate.
