KABUL (SW) –\u00a0Bilal Karimi, Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, says that with the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, the rights of all citizens have been secured and protected in accordance with Islamic principles.<\/p>\n
In a conversation with Salam Watandar, he said that the Islamic Emirate has announced a general amnesty in the country and strongly condemned the rumors that they killed prisoners of war and mistreated them and called them baseless.<\/p>\n
He also called the latest report of the UN Special Rapporteur on Afghanistan’s human rights issues far from reality and according to him, these institutions should prepare their reports based on the facts.<\/p>\n
UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan, Richard Bennett, has said in a series of tweets that during his visit to Afghanistan, he met diverse stakeholders including female and male representatives of civil society from several provinces.<\/p>\n
\u201cReps from #Panjshir described a massive crackdown on civilians by TB & widespread human rights abuses, incl. egregious violations of women & girls\u201d, he tweeted.<\/p>\n
\u201cCorroborating open source analysis, #Panjshiris also told me of the shocking treatment of NRF fighters hors de combat. This must stop & those responsible held to account\u201d, he tweeted.<\/p>\n
He urged Afghans from all communities to communicate their human rights concerns to his office.<\/p>\n
