KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health has announced that 14 people died in past 24 hours after contracting coronavirus.
Fresh figures from the MoPH indicate 57 new cases of the virus have been identified. The ministry said in its daily report that 1,802 patients suspected of having the virus were tested in past 24 hours.
According to the report, 295 patients with the infection recovered during this period. It said the new cases have been identified in 15 provinces of the country.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, since the beginning of the spread of the coronavirus, 221,663 people across the country have been tested. Of these, 53,831 people across the country were found to be infected with the virus and 2,328 people have died from it.
Similarly, 45,105 people have recovered.
