Blasts in Bamyan kill 14 people

BAMYAN (SW) – Back-to-back blasts in Bamyan province killed at least 14 people, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the interior ministry, the blasts ripped through the local market killing 14 people. Tariq Arian, the ministry spokesman said in a statement that up to 45 people injured in this attack.

Head of the public hospital in Bamyan, Faroguddin Amiri, has said women and children are among the victims of the blasts.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
