KABUL (SW) – At least four members of the Afghan government’s peace negotiating team has returned from Doha, an official said on Sunday.

Feredoon Khwazoon, spokesman for the High Council for National Reconciliation, wrote on his official Facebook page that four members of the government’s negotiating team have returned from the Qatari capital due to personal and official engagements in Afghansitan.

According to Khwazoon, Sayed Saadat Mansour Naderi, Fawzia Koofi, Abdul Mateen Baik and Kalimullah Naqibi are among those who have arrived in Kabul and will return to Doha soon to resume the intra-Afghan talks with the Taliban.

On the other hand, some reports indicate that most of the differences have been agreed upon in the Doha talks, but the details have not been released to the media.

The four members of the government delegation arrived in Kabul from Qatar more than a month after the opening of intra-Afghan peace talks in Doha, and so far government and Taliban contact groups have not been able to finalize the agenda and mechanism for the talks.
